Hamlett Property Managment is wonderful They have taken care of my rental home for over 5 years. They are easy to work with. They are available to me (as the owner) and to our tenants (as the renters). They make sure repairs are taken care of quickly.

Rented from Hamlett for 6.3 years. Amazing people to work with. Never had a problem with them. They got right on any problem that arose, and it was dealt with quickly. They were more than fair to us when we came upon hard times on a furlough, and worked with us. We took care of our place and left it in great shape when we moved. Got our FULL security deposit back. The sweetest kindest people whenever we had to do business, but then again, we were kind. Sometimes some people are impossible to please so I'd take some of these reviews with that in mind. Way to be, Hamlett !!! You're the BEST !!

We were with Hamlett Property Management for 1 year. There have been multiple instances where neither phone calls nor emails were responded to in a timely manner, for maintenance issues ranging from a light fixture dying, all the way up to the air conditioning not working. It took over a month for the A/C to get fixed. If this had been an isolated incident of maybe a communication error, etc, I would be more lenient. But this happened on two different occasions where I had to be the one to stay on top of the situation to get things fixed.

I would give them 2.5 stars if it was an option. I was fine with them up until they let the home owner run all me when it came to the security deposit when I moved out. We moved out on a Sunday and couldn't return the keys to them in person. We mailed the keys out of courtesy. They still charged up pro-rated rent saying the keys were returned late. Also, when we moved in the house it was dirty and full of dead bugs yet we were charged $275 to deep clean the kitchen and bathrooms when we moved out. We were also charged $200 for wall touch-up even after we spent hours and money fixing any holes or any problems with the walls. As a home owner a little paint and cleaning so you can make the place look really nice for new potential renters is not something that should be charged to the previous tenant who is moving out. It's just normal wear and tear you can expect as the home owner.
