Al is a fantastic guy, extraordinarily knowledgeable, incredibly friendly and down-to-earth, and very skilled with just about any type of instrument. I will never go anywhere else for repairs or purchases.

Yesterday, I wanted to trade/sell two old flutes for harmonicas. The gentleman gave no mind to the cheap flute which really didn't have any value. However, the other flute we had was an intermediate level flute retailing new at $1200. Similar used models to the one I was trading in are selling for $500 to $700. He offered $50. That isn't even melt value on the pure silver head of the flute. (The statements following are opinion) My assumption is he guessed I had no idea to the actual value of the flutes and threw out just enough cash incecntive to get me a mid grade level harmonica. Based on this experience I would not deal with them again regarding trading/selling used instruments.
