All Star Bike Shops

I've been in All Star several times, they have always been knowledgeable and curtious. The last time was for a tune up for a bike 10+yrs.I was explained all that is done, gave me an estimate and in two days I had a 10 yr old bike that worked like new. I'll gladly go back.

My wife saw a helmet that she liked and since our LBS couldn't order the brand and we were in Raleigh we decided to take a look. Shop had a great selection of bikes, of all levels, and the staff was amazingly helpful trying to find one in her size to at least try on. Unsuccessful in finding the helmet as we were only going to be in town one more day we still had a wonderful conversation with the shop guys even though they knew there was no way to make a sale. Very passionate guys about bikes.

I have fired this store twice in the past and this time it's final. I went in with a brand new bike ($1200) asking for help in changing to tubeless tires. The questions of what that would could and what I would need was never answered. Instead, I was shown a $750 wheelset and a new bike that those wheels come on. I was never asked if the bike was too heavy, what I liked and didn't like about my new bike. Nope. Straight to the up sale. Historically, I went in with $800 cash in my pocket (from selling a used bike) and was so annoyed about being disrespected as to being silly enough to by a $700 hardtail when there are $5000 carbon models available. I went to Bicycle Chain and spent the $800 in about 20 minutes.

All of the staff worked to help me find the perfect bike and then again to get me on that bike with a good price. After I purchased my Specialized, they took the time to fit me on the bike to make sure the fit was perfect. The whole time they were very understanding and I wasn't rushed at all. I highly recommend this LBS and will be returning again!
