If you need a bike, go to Mike. This man treats you as good as anyone ever will, and I’ve never been treated so fairly anywhere. He truly wants the best for his customers. Mike LOVES bikes & cycling and he is incredibly knowledgeable. GO BUY A BIKE FROM MIKE!

I stopped by Elon Bike shop while in town on a business trip. The owner was super nice and help me find an old brake handle for a retro project. He was super helpful and had a ton of vintage parts that you just can’t find anywhere. He also had new parts if needed. There are bikes of all types in the shop. I would recommend stopping by and saying hey. If you need a repair this is the place.

I've been to the Elon Bike Shop at least a dozen times in my time at Elon U, Pete has always been more than fair, and is clearly an expert in his field. He's funny, trustworthy, and a likable guy with a passion for biking. Definitely THE place for bike repair in the area.

I couldn't agree more about Mike being a straight-shooter, a genuine bicycle enthusiast, and an all-around nice guy. Went there for the first time ever, and came out with a terrific new bicycle, perfect for my needs, at a really good price. As for the (very few) who have given negative reviews? Just ask Mike: he'll tell you the other side of the story. He cares about two things: 1) working on bicycles and 2) making customers happy. As long as he makes enough to stay open and do what he loves, that's all he cares about, so I seriously doubt anyone who believes (or claims to believe) that he's out to take advantage of anyone. I'm certain he doesn't suffer fools gladly, so if you walked in and ended up feeling like you got the stink eye, I think you should look into a mirror to see what brought it on. I drove up to his shop as a total stranger with no preconceptions, and he treated me like an old pal from the very 1st second I stepped out of my car. I will be back there for him to fix up another bicycle I own, plus anything else bike-related from now on.

Don't let the size of the store turn you away, this shop is seriously straight business. Stopped by with a brake issue and before I could even blink he had my bike fixed and ready to roll! I think I spent more time staring at him in disbelief than he did fixing my bicycle (lol). FYI, I have a 2017 Trek that I baby and if anything else happened to it, I wouldn't think twice about bringing it back here! Friendly, affordable, and extremely fast! Couldn't get any better!
