Ken told me I needed an appointment and 50 people were ahead of me TO SHORTEN A BMX CHAIN. I SUSPECT HE DIDNT WANT TO HELP ME. 

ANYWAY,  Charles over at another Shop gladly handled my business.

Wow! Excellent service.  Nice people, professional, personable and courteous. Today I got my old bike out of the basement and took it to Kens for inner-tubes and a tuneup.  This is not an expensive bike at all, but Ken's Bike Shop took care of it like it was a top of the line bike.
I'm so pleased, just rode it around the neighborhood and the gears shift smoothly and the brakes work well.  It is better than when I first bought it.
I wish I had taken it in sooner. :)
