Love the food and place. Very reasonable. Very rarely an Indian restaurant is open at 8 am! Good South Indian food at cheap price. Even buffet is reasonably priced. Same owner as sankaranti. This is a good alternative to the great food that Sankara this offers if you feel the food is too much to eat or need an alternative. This place is not too crowded as well. Must try

Awesome breakfast menu for lunch and breakfast whole day on weekend and most hours on weekday. Kind of calorie booster but taste doesn't let you stop over eating.

Nice and super clean Vegetarian South Indian restaurant. Has self serve chutney bar and sambhar, complementary tea, food is quick, fresh. The size of dosas was huge and the dosa was very thick with no crispness, masala was really good, sambhar was kinda ok. The decor is like mix and match, chairs and tables are all different from each other. This place is for people who don't care about decor, would like clean and quality food. Tea is one of the best in bay area. The only improvement needed is in sambhar and the dosa layer. Would definitely come back again.

A nice south indian food place. You can get reasonably tasty dosas and idlis and other south indian tiffin items right here in Sunnyvale.

Ordinary all you eat type Indian cuisine. Too crowded bc it is cheap and noisy as hell. Cant say a lot about the quality of the food, tastes just about ok. Maybe it makes sense if this your native cuisine but I would rather dine in peace.

I have been in US for 4 yrs roamed around 5 states. Never had these kind of Indian breakfast buffet is delicious. Would love to visit this restaurant again when I visit Sunnyvale again as I am from Phoenix.

This was my first time here so I didn't know what to expect. Since I wanted to try different things, I decided to have a buffet dinner. To my surprise, we were served non stop! Their Chutney bar was out of ordinary! so many delicious Chutneys, among which I liked Garlic Chutney the most, and oh! mango Lassi was yummy! In fact, almost all of the items were unique in taste, and Kishore was non stop serving different doses!! I never ate this much lately. Come with good appetite here and I guarantee you will go back. You bet I will be back when I am in town again!

This is my first ever review of any restaurant that I visited to date. My visit to this restaurant was such a serendipity experience that I couldn't help but write my first ever review. I visited with my extended family from India that comprised of my aunts and uncles who were seasoned cooks and connoisseurs at home. It was a Saturday night with unlimited pure vegetarian tiffins thali offer....I was bowled over with the variety of tiffins, immaculate taste and service is an understatement, cuz it was beyond my expectation of good food, ambience and service. It started off with my visit to the washroom to clean my hands to get ready to dig in and I was pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness of the restroom. By the time I was done with washing my hands, a large table was arranged for 11 of us and no sooner than we settled in our seats around the table, piping hot thali filled with punugulu, idli, hot pongal, bisebele bath, vegetable upma, sweet pongal chakkara pongali and variety of chatnis welcomed us on our table. The thali was a large stainless steel plate with compartments for different items unlike the usual paper or plastic plates that you encounter in these days in almost all the restaurants. While we were eagerly digging into the thali and relishing the impeccable taste of each item with distinct chatney flavors, piping hot masala dosas, khara podi dosas, plain dosas, pesarattu and utappams started arriving on our table. We wasted no time in devouring those yummy dosas and utappams. Then came pulav with raita and hot & crispy vadas. Mango lassi followed to wash down the delectable tiffins. What made the taste quadrupled was the impeccable service. Everyone of the staff was so friendly and affable that they treated us as one of their own family members by feeding us with so much care and attention. They constantly kept an eye on our table to refill our thalis as soon as we polished it off. As they say, the true taste comes from the service you receive, it was undoubtedly the best service and a surreal experience. What took all of us by surprise was the price tag....it was so affordable and low that we kept wondering how the rest of the bay area restaurants are ripping us off with ordinary food and service. Hats off to the management, service staff and the chefs that gave us a wonderful and wholesome experience in a long time. Hope the management maintains the quality and standards and they don't lose the chefs and the service staff to the competition. I strongly recommend this place to every food lover in the bay area and around.
