Nice experience to have a Thali food. Varieties of options. Unlimited food servings. Felt like home food. Tasty and Not spicy too. These were brighter side. But we went during weekend it was very busy. We had to wait outside. There was one menu that is "Thali" menu. But the cost for one Thali was more I felt. After eating a roti, Puri and pav baji I felt very full. I couldn't even taste kichadi as was feeling full.. But to say iam heavy eater but got full very easily They served unlimited buttermilk too it was also tasty. Staff was also nice n friendly. Well Maintened
At $18 plus tax, it is not the cheapest buffet option. But, the food is homey nothing fancy and looks well made. The khaman, shrikhand, dal and daily sabzi are all good. They offer Chas, and water if you request. Food is brought to your table, but sometimes you have to ask for a specific dish and they will bring it to you. There is no limit to how much you can request. Service is OK, the staff is less interested in being proactive which is a bit surprising as they bring all the food.
They say its authentic gujarati. They do have all gujarati food items in their thali but no gujarati food taste at all. Non gujarati people seem to have like this place a lot as I have seen many non gujarati folks there. I think they are impressed by the number of items but unfortunately they don't know how it should taste. Not worth at all. I have attached their thali pic and it looked great but not the taste. They need to learn how to make gujarat food. Its so called gujarati restaurant but all the customers I have seen so far are non gujarati, all servers are non gujarati. I wonder if the cooks are gujarati.
Gujarati Food served on Stainless steel plates with unlimited qty. The ambiance was decent . We were 4 of us and it cost us USD 78.44 plus tips of 15% . The food is served with 2 dry vegetable Cabbage and sweet potato, Kadi, Paneer dish , dhal , Shrikhand ,amras , Chapati, poori , cutlet fryum, Buttermilk , khichdi, dhokla and white rice , The food was yummy and we were to wait for some time to get Dhokla and kichadi to be serviced this is despite telling more than 2 people . The food was Tasty ,Amras was very tangy . On our way we picked Masala Tea which was also very good . For visiting indians can try once .
Make sure you don't have breakfast or lunch when you go. The food is soooo good, and you'll want to keep on eating more and more but what if you don't have space? So make sure to go on an empty stomach to get the biggest bang for your buck. Great indian vegeterian place and the servers will come by with more and more of the delicious food and it is truly hard to say no. I didn't walk out of thali... they had to roll me out.
The taste is awesome. But it's expensive over the weekends. For 3 meals we were charged around 65$
Fantastic Gujarati food, great ambience. The thali is certainly going to make me keep coming back. Loved the chaans. It was unlike any other chaans I have tasted in the past. The paan ice cream brought me back memories of the good times I spent in Gujarat. 5/5 . Service is very good as well. Thoroughly enjoyed.
