Animal Hospital of North Asheville - Veterinarians

I adopted a non-kitten in November 2012. He was approximately 7, and while generally healthy, his dental needs grew each year. Dr. Sim took great care of his teeth with each visit and with a well thought-out long-term plan. This Spring, Drs. Garner and Frye and the staff also expertly and carefully assessed him on a journey that ultimately turned out to be cancer. They also took good care of his human. It became clear that nearly everyone in the building had a role to play in dealing with me and my cat during various visits and procedures over the years - I really appreciate the thorough, professional, caring treatment. My Bulldog, George Burns and I have been friends and he a patient of this amazing animal hospital for 10 1/2 years. It's not easy taking care of a senior Bulldog, and they truly have extended his life and quality of life. Best vets ever!

When you have to do the most heartbreaking task of putting your dog to sleep there is no better place than this. Jacob is an angel on earth. For real. His compassion and care is beyond any words can describe. Also, I loved the privacy we received by using a seperate entrance, very nice private comfortable room. Our little Bella, bless her heart was so relaxed and comfortable as she drifted off to her next life where we will meet again. They also sent us a heartfelt sympathy card and laminated prayer that is just beautiful. Very special people work here. I can't thank you enough for making this difficult time much easier.

I absolutely LOVE the team & the atmosphere of the clinic! I've even talked a lot of family & friends into switching to the Animal Hospital of North Asheville. The staff & doctors are all very friendly & professional as well as compassionate towards both the needs & well being of my furchildren, myself & my fiancé. Before switching to AHNA, my babies were always afraid to go into the Vet's office, here, they are comfortable & happy with all the love & attention they get. I was given frequent updates via phone & email, complete with pictures, when one of my babies had surgery & needed to spend a couple nights. Unless I happen to move away from the area, my kids will never go to another clinic. Extremely pleased with everything this place has to offer!

My dog is extremely fearful at the vet. AHNA staff go above and beyond to adhere to their Fear Free Certification standards, and it has made such a difference to me and my dog. Every moment is built to give excellent medical care and reduce stress: From scheduling the appointment, to walking my dog through a side door away from other animals, to working as a team to get the diagnostics we need in the least traumatic way possible. I really appreciate the effort and expertise that the full staff put towards their patients. What's more, I never feel judged for my dog's behavior or my thousand questions :) I am a shelter dog behavior professional and I highly recommend this agency!
