Western Carolina Regional Animal Hospital and Veterinary Emergency Hospital

When our Stella became very sick over the Memorial Day weekend, we made our first visit to WCRAH. Everyone there showed us nothing but concern, care and compassion. Dr.Tucker was professional and thorough, explaining the procedures that would be done. After an overnight stay, we were able to bring our girl home with meditation and detailed instructions. I cannot say enough about this amazing facility....highly recommend!!!

Staff is friendly, helpful, and concerned about my 65 lb. "Baby". Actually, our Portuguese water dog whose first visit was for a hip problem , and tonight for a bad snake bite. We were treated wirh concern, and the doctor provided an in-depth explanation of the entire process. So thrilled with this facility and the people. I'm resting a bit easier knowing our little guy is where he needs to be, receiving the best treatment, and is surrounded by caring, capable people. Thanks to all who work here. Bailey's mom.

Dr.Cannady DVM and Megan VT were tremendously supportive and knowledgeable when I brought my little Chihuahua Mikey (17yo) to them. He was in respiratory distress and had a significant heart condition. He passed peacefully with me in a quiet room after consultation regarding euthanizing him. They were so great with him. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you did to support us both. I will miss that sweet little soul.

**Update 4/12/18** Took our puppy in there last night. Once again as is always the case they are so nice to not only the people but the animals too. Our puppy was so scared and wasn't feeling well. The staff literally crawled on the floor so that our pup didn't need to get up on the table. I would refer this vet, and do, to everyone. Very good bedside manner for an animal that is hurting and scared. Seems to me they do every thing possible to keep everyone calm and as comfortable as possible. Thanks to everyone on staff. Best Vet I've used in 25 years. Consistently professional. Everyone is super nice. Even in the middle of the night they explain everything clearly, go over options and explain cost. I've been to the other emergency vet in WNC. Never again. This has been my primary vet for 2 years now and I am to keep it that way.

Very friendly and professional staff. Saw my puppy at 2 in the morning. Dr. Brandon Hughes did a wonderful job.and kept us in the loop all the way. Just fantastic service.
