Hello to all that read this, Just to let you know I am very particular to who I let work with me on my hearing issues. Due to the degree of my hearing loss, I only see the top grade audiologists. Melisa Karp has met and exceeded my expectations. She is friendly, kind, professional and willing to work her schedule to fit me in. She has been able to resolve all my hearing aid issues to date. She manages my hearing aids warranty plan so I don’t have to. This way I know that I am getting the service I need. I can’t say enough good things about her practice. I would give Dr. Karp 10 stars if I could. After attending a loud Celtic music concert this past summer, my teenage son kept complaining that his ears were "muffling" and hurt. Eventually, he could no longer play jazz piano or listen to anything over a speaker. Two ENTs shrugged their shoulders and could not explain his condition. After three months and too much internet research, we thought he might have hyperacusis and found Dr. Karp on a list of select audiologists who could treat the condition. After testing him, Dr. Karp diagnosed my son with misaphonia and provided a protocol for him to follow to overcome the symptoms. Over the past few months, she has repeatedly responded to our multiple questions and concerns. Dr. Karp has been and continues to be the most competent and attentive medical professional I have ever found.

I am so happy I found Dr. Karp. She really spent time going over my hearing results and what situations were most important to me to hear well, made recommendations, and let me do a hearing aid test drive so I knew what I would be purchasing. She is very skilled at adjusting hearing aids and genuinely cares about her patients. I could not recommend her highly enough.
