Avis Car Rental

I’ll never come here again! I was anxious to get out of town because it was really windy that day and school was canceled! My reservation was at 12:00 .. I called earlier around 10 to try to get a car but the guy was so rude and nasty over the phone and said he doesn’t have anything right now and that I have to wait until 12:00 ... I came in at 11:30 and he says ‘ I need half an hour. Your car is not ready!’ Nobody there, I sit and wait and he’s there talking in foreign language to another guy. Then another female customer comes in and he greets her and start servicing her immediately while I am sitting and waiting!! He helps another customer and another and another and I am still waiting. At the end at 12:00, I get a different car other than the one I booked online?? I asked him why did I have to wait 30 minutes, I didn’t see anyone else wait. He said your car wasn’t ready!! I am furious and I don’t understand why I was treated differently! why did he service 5 other customers while I was sitting and waiting on the side! at the end he gave me 25% discount on the car insurance but I'd rather pay full price and receive a prompt and fair customer service!

Easy to book a wide selection of cars online. Staff is friendly. Good experience

Service was slow and the place seemed understaffed. Especially if you are used to preferred status where you just go to your car with the keys inside and drive off.
