Hertz

Went to return the car at 4pm on a Friday, there was no one there to receive it. So after a few phone calls and around 30 minutes, I called the national office, they told me to leave the keys with the valet, which I did. Also left my paperwork in the hertz office. With this I have been charged $100 a day for 5 days because the local office hasn't closed out my rental. I called this morning at 9:30, they open at 9, and what do you know, someone answers the phone but tells me they are driving and will have to call me back.

the location is sketchy. let me paint you a picture: you walk through a really nice hotel, and then go down a hallway and the hertz is a dark room in the corner. i dont know that it has ever been vacuumed; there are huge dust bunnies and trash everywhere. when i got there to pick up the car on monday, no one was there so i had to call someone and wait for THIRTY minutes. then they realized they didnt have the car, so they had to drive into DC and get the car and come back when i went to drop off the car, i walked in and said "i'm here to drop off a car" and the guy just said, ok i will take the keys. Went to get the receipt today and it looks like they havent' even closed out the contract. Be warned of this location! Hertz please take notice! You are a corporate facing customer-service oriented company! Why have you let this slip by you?

They took three hours to get me a car for my reservation that was booked weeks ago. They made me travel to a different location to pick it up too.

The guy from hertz wasn't there at the pickup, so we had to go to an other hertz station. At the return he also wasn't there. Very bad customer service. We won't use hertz any time.
