I feel that I like best buy as a store. Though this store is just bad, not a lot of workers, not organized, overall it's a nice place to look for electronics though if you are going to buy something there, don't. So that is the reason for a 2 star review.
UPDATE-
They repainted and switched around some parts of the store so it's a bit better but not super tidy but more "modern". If they did some work to the outside then it would look a lot nicer.

Very poor customer service. I needed to buy a gift, so I decided to buy an Apple Watch. After standing by the watch display for a couple of minutes to see if anyone would help me out, I saw many associates nearby not doing anything. So I approached one of the associates playing on their phone to see if they could grab the watch for me. They said I need to see someone in the mobile department. So I then found someone in the mobile department and he was extremely rude. I asked him politely if he could grab the watch for me, and he stood up, shurugged his shoulders and rolled his eyes saying, “Well which one do you want?” After I told him which one I needed, he then gave me the box and said go to the cashier. I immediately wanted to just walk away and buy the watch somewhere else, but as it was a last minute gift, I needed it fast. All in all terrible service and I will never return back to the store.

So, originally I had a 4-star review for this location. In recent months however, I’ve experienced nothing but inexcusable problems here.
To keep this review a reasonable length, I’ll sum it up into a few key points.
Pros:
-Electronics galore
-Some associates are knowledgeable
Cons:
-Price Match Policy
-Any other associate
-Managements view of customers
-Prices in general are a bit steep compared to competition
-They can’t keep a service plan for more than 2 years
So to sum it all up:
While there are tons of electronic devices to make any adult feel like a kid in a candy shop, the largest issues here sum it all up into the employees. The management pick and choose when to honor their price match policy with a mentality of profit before customers and that trickles down into the employees. Only two types of employees seem to work here. The kind that actually try to help (who seem unhappy to even be there) and the ones looking to make a commission off anyone they talk to. The latter seem so dead set on it that they seem to make things up on the spot about a tv or appliance that seem too good to be true! The prices are generally a lot higher than anywhere else and if you find them cheaper, more often then not you’ll have to go there because Best Buy will turn you away because there’s not enough money involved in it for them. That’s why they’ve altered their service plans, again. If you didn’t know what they were before, you sure won’t now. Expect to subscribe and to have auto renewal on a credit card for almost every “free item” that comes with your purchase. Can’t be too free if you pay for, now or later. Just carries more weight that even the corporate Best Buy is moving away from a customer focus and into a profit focus.
Very disappointing that my previous evaluation of this location had to be altered so drastically. You’re better off looking for your electronics on amazon or microcenter and skip the run around and deceptions that Best Buy will try to push on you. The headache avoided is worth the few days wait.

Friendly staff, reasonably knowledgeable and helpful. Too often when you go to a big box store the employees scatter as soon as they see you looking their way, it was a nice change of pace to be approached and asked if I needed help and for the employee asking to actually be helpful.

Originally went to another Location and ended up not buying a laptop because the sales associate was fairly pushy. He was recommending items that weren't what I was looking for at all. So glad I ended up deciding to come to the Bolingbrook location, Michael was super easy going and really narrowed in on my needs in a laptop. This was the Exact model I was looking at earlier today but Michael was the one who sealed the deal. Service was a little slow at 1st but was worth it in the end for an easy and stress free transaction.
