Bicycles East

Amazing isn't the word - there has to be something better to describe them. My husband has a bike fitting & was so impressed & enthusiastic when he came home and was fitted for a new pair of shoes (and a wedge) that fit great. I had foot surgery last year & my biking shoe would no longer fit comfortably even after having it stretched. We went there today in hopes I might be able to get a new pair that would fit my custom orthotics. Most places have a limit selection and you have to hope you chose wisely. NOT HERE!! Deb greeted us when we walked in. I explain the problem. She brought me back to a great selection of shoes. She took foot measurements & made some selections. I explained why shoe #1 was quite right -hitting scar tissue (feeling discouraged)Shoe #2 was PERFECT! I got home & was able to ride for an hour a little hard than usual with no discomfort. I stopped only because i didn't want to push my luck and was giving them a break in period. I also bought a riding jersey & was impressed they had same shirt but in various size cut, relaxed, trim - you name it - it was there THANKS DEB!

The staff could not be more lovely and the service is great. We have been bringing our Triathlon racing bikes, mountain bikes and hybrids for years. Looking forward to a great racing season!!!!

Best service I've ever gotten at a bike shop. Actually anywhere for that matter. Steve, Deb and the rest of the crew are nothing but professionals that treat everyone like they are a part of their own family. I'm definitely not an easy customer to deal with as I'm OCD with my bike stuff, but no matter how much of a stink or problem I've come to them with, they've always kept their cool and resolved the situation. That is huge for me and I'm sure many other people as well. They go above and beyond and I highly recommend going here if you want GREAT service and knowledge. I actually travel from the other side of CT just to buy bikes and get service from them. I've been going to them for about 2 years and I feel I owe them a good review after everything they have done for me. Definitely check this place out!

Simply stated, Bicycles East is a gem. Steve, Deb and the entire staff treats customers like....Wait for it, 'customers' and not someone interrupting their day. Respect, courtesy is the norm, Never pressure selling, just very friendly technically correct advice and suggestions. Nate and the Service Dept are on the top of their game. They really know their stuff. A great crew. I feel very confident in the work performed. I was interested in an e-Bike, after speaking with Steve, Deb and Beth I test rode the Trek of my choice, ( try test riding on the Internet ) loved the e-bike and bought it . I opted for Steve's optional fitting, well worth the investment, the bike fits me like a glove. I could not be happier. I'm a customer for life.

Family owned and operated, AMAZING customer service!!! Not pretentious yet utterly knowledgeable. Something for families, hipsters and very serious riders. They take the time to make sure you are comfortable on your bike and stand by their "bring it back if it's not right" policy. A class act minus the attitude. Love this shop! Highly recommend supporting this kind of small business!
