Pedal Power

So I'm just starting back into cycling, and recently was gifted an amazing specialized road bike. But with that comes the need to be outfitted from start to finish and head-to-toe. All I can say, is each and every time I have been into this store, the staff has been 100% on-point and fantastic. They never pressure, answer every question, and go out of their way (IMO) to make sure your satisfied with their products and your selections. This is my new "go to" destination for all my cycling needs!

Let's not kid ourselves a quality bicycle is expensive. No matter which bike shop you chose the pricing is pretty uniform, mainly because of the manufacturer. The staff at any shop can make or break your buying decision. I started out with Matt whom is from another store in believe it's in Middletown; in any event his taking care of me was great. Then Chris took over in transition & there wasn't a hiccup in their hospitality. Every question was professional with fun & even the mechanics mainly Jake were more than courteous. Bottom line is that the manufacturer's set the pricing on bikes and honestly I feel that they're way over inflated because by year end if you go to sell that same bike the value doesn't hold at all. So with that being the case I'm antsy about that because I support local shops like this 1 as the staff makes the purchase worthwhile.

I had an excellent experience at Pedal Power Berlin. I purchased a trainer. After using it a couple of times I was not satisfied with the resistance range. When I called the shop to see if I could exchange it for another model they told me no problem, and bring my bike this time so I could test all the models in the showroom. They spent time setting up all the different models of trainers for me to test. I felt absolutely no pressure to buy one over another and in the end I was able to get what I was originally looking for. Thanks Guys! I Love the new location too.

I went in with limited background knowledge on bike parts and maintenance but wanting to learn. Seth was very helpful and walked me through what things I could work on myself and he did a few things in the shop that I wouldn't have tools for (but still showed me what he was doing). Definitely will be going back.

Went to check out bike options since I am eager to start riding a bike again. It has been a long time and a lot has changed. I described to Ostap, sales and service guy, what I was looking for. He shared a lot of knowledge with me and took the time to find a bike that was right for me. Great customer service.
