Big Daddy's Pizza

I got a text message from Big Daddy's a few days ago (the first one I've ever gotten) promoting a special for Buy 1 get 1 Free pizza. I called and placed the order and just as I was getting ready to pay, I was told that the deal had expired (it hadn't). When I rebutted, I was told that if it didn't show up in the computer, it couldn't be honored. Apparently there was no manager to speak to. This location canvassed me with a text message based coupon. They then refused to honor it. Would not recommend.

The pizza at this location is made with love. I love Bid daddy’s pizza and have tried a few locations I can honestly say they make some of the best I’ve tried. And of course it’s not always consistent everywhere but they do pretty good for the most part. Great staff too. Very personable with great manners. I’m a coupon guy and these guys give them out quite often which I love about them. I think it’s a great thing they do.

I was extremely disappointed with how I was treated by the staff tonight. This location sells pepperoni pizza AND cheese pizza at $6. I ordered a pizza with half pepperoni and half cheese and she charged me $7.77. When I asked about it she told me it was because a half pepperoni is a specialty pizza. That is a disgusting business practice. I even asked her for the $6 pizza when I ordered and she didn't say anything until I called her on the price of the final ticket. In all fairness I have usually had good experiences here. This is the first time this has happened in all of the times I have been here. I feel that the food is higher quality than a place like Little Ceasars but the prices are very similar. I had a bad experience but the pizza is good and the prices are reasonable, as long as they tell you upfront how much everything will cost.

It’s almost impressive how mean the woman who runs this joint is. I don’t know how to put it in words, it’s indescribable. Go in there and experience something profound. I find myself wanting to apologize for being a customer every time I go in, but I’m too scared to. She could literally kill you. Don’t risk it - it’s not worth it. It’s the soup Nazi, but for cheap pizza in real life.

We just moved into the area and thought some decent pizza sounded like a good idea. Already the old woman that answered the phone got confrontational and sharp with us for not know what street we lived by after giving her our full address. We told her we just moved in and the full address is all we knew, She clearly sounded like we were problem guests for her, "We dont have Google maps," and "What do you want?" followed by the awnry pauses and sighs. After thinking we didnt want to give our patronage to rude service, I called back and asked for the manager, who unsurprisingly turned out to be the very same woman. I told her we wanted to cancel our order due to her confrontation demeanor and was responded with a, "I wasn't trying to be, thanks." The manager has her attitude down to an art. I understand busy nights or an inconvenient situation, and I was polite the whole time but no guests deserve to be treated that way. Never coming or spending my money here.
