You can learn some good history here about the settling of the town of Bluff by the Mormons. The staff in the visitors center, who are decedents of the original settlers, were very helpful and informative. There is a wonderful free fort replica and nice gift shop. We enjoyed it all very much.

This is a Mormon settlement from the 1870's. I loved how the families donated artifacts including photos to show us what little they had to start with and the family history. The volunteers are friendly and knowledgeable about this settlement. Some of the wagons are the original wagons that the families used to move to this area. It will take between 1 to 2 hours to go through the site. Stop at the crafts building to see the women work on beautiful items including rugs, dolls, and clothing. Join in on sewing a quilt. This site is wheelchair friendly and definitely family friendly. The Visitors Center has lots of great items to purchase for very reasonable prices.

Kinda cool. It's free and a good spot for kids to stretch their legs on a road trip. Very nice restrooms and water. I only gave it 3 stars though because it is a bit of a mormon propaganda center. That's the cost of free I guess.

The people here are lovely and very willing to share their knowledge of the local area. The facility is clean and well maintained. It would be fun for children. The outdoor displays are cute and more fun than truly historical.

The LDS are to be congratulated for this very well set up experience. If you are in the area don't miss this. What a story!
