We had a great one night stay at Boardman House Inn! We were in the Corner Room and it was very cozy. The bathroom is modern and features a heated floor which was a nice touch. Mia, the innkeeper, was welcoming and quite friendly. She cooked us tasty French toast for breakfast and was attentive to our needs. The decor of the house was tasteful with seasonal touches. This B&B is highly recommended for a relaxing getaway!

We stayed there for a night on our drive up to NH in July. The house was really beautiful! Even though we did not get to spend time exploring the area, we immediately want to bring our parents when they come visit us in NYC in the fall. The house is beautifully decorated with antique furnishing that makes you feel pampered. Mia is a wonderful host who makes you feel taken care of and right at home. We can't wait to come back in the fall when the leaves change colour so we can take a boat ride on the nearby river.

Effervescent and magnanimous, Mia made my wife and me feel instantly welcome in the exquisite Boardman House Inn. As co-owner, Mia prepared our breakfasts to order and delighted us with friendly conversation and personal recommendations for local activities and restaurants. Since the Inn is within a two-minute walk of the renowned Goodspeed Opera House, my wife and I strolled over to a remarkable matinee performance of Fiddler on the Roof and stopped for ice cream at the charming, family-run Sweet Shoppe on the way back. The two nights we spent in the sizable and elegant Garden Room were relaxing and luxurious. The Boardman House Inn maintains all the charm of an historic residence while offering a full buffet of modern amenities. We could not have been happier or more comfortable at the Boardman House Inn.

The Boardman House is the only place that we stay in the Lower Connecticut River Valley. It is a beautifully and meticulously restored and maintained Victorian home. We absolutely love staying here. As a fan of the Goodspeed, we combine our stays with seeing a performance there.
Mia is a flawless host and every room is lovely, warm, and light.
The only reason I would discourage anyone from staying here, is if we need a room and they are booked!
Do not miss staying here! It is wonderful.
