The Riverwind Inn

Our 3 night stay at the Riverwind Inn in Deep River CT was great. Mike and Stacie are gracious hosts who made us feel at home and were helpful in our travels. The breakfasts were delicious and hearty; so much so, in fact, that lunch wasn't necessary. Our room, Willow, was clean and comfortable and we really liked the porch which we used often. The Inn is centrally located for many of the sights which we visited. We can honestly say that of all the B&B's we've been to, the Riverwind is our favorite.

My mom and I just returned home from the most amazing weekend at the Riverwind Inn. This place is amazing! The Riverwind is centrally located to anything you could want to do, but the location makes it so you still feel like you are in your own private retreat. There is not a single attention to detail that is missed. Our room was immaculate. Mike and Stacie are the kindest hosts and were always there to help. I happened to mention how I always need to have my water bottle with me due to a medical condition, and Mike saw me without it once and was awesome enough to remind me!!!! It's the little things like this that show that to they really care about their guests. The full breakfast served could have come from 5 star michelin restaurant, and as the reviewer mentioned below, kept us satisfied they lunch as well. My mom still can't stop talking about how good the coffee was. If you are looking for an a nice, adult place to stay in the Deep River/Essex area, there is really only one place you should even consider staying at - The Riverwind Inn.

My husband,me & another couple just stayed at this lovely B & B. The rooms were decorated according to New England standards. We really appreciated the large,absorbant bath towels. Stacie is a wonderful chef. The 2 gourmet breakfasts we had were SO delicious & tastefully presented! I don't normally eat breakfast, but how could I resist? Michael was the perfect host. He made us feel like we were visiting friends. The location was perfect. I would definately go back there.

We had a great stay at The Riverwind Inn. They have GREAT, friendly hosts. It was quiet, very clean, and very cozy. Breakfast was outstanding. You could tell they spend a lot of time on details. Our stay was 5 star, hands down!

The place is a great atmosphere I was there for the wine dinner it was unbelievable they serve the delicious wine. Guardia 33 best wine in Connecticut. Ask Mike and Stacy the owners
