Bobo's Chicken

I've heard many things about Bobo's. Some good and some bad, but all were true. To describe this fried chicken, it was like smoked fried chicken, with a bit of a kick to it. Quite possibly some of the best fried chicken I've ever had. I've never had fried chicken that was smoked and they give you the option to put the honey on it; do it. They drizzle the honey over it and it's like a sweet, smokey, fried chicken with a bit of spice. It is a bit messy, but it's so good. The hours are a bit iffy because it's only Fridays and Saturdays from 7pm to late in the night. If you choose to go, try going sooner rather than later. The area is a bit sketchy and it gets dialed up the later it gets.

ABSOLUTELY my favorite chicken/catfish spot ever!!!! I love the flavor of the smoky fried chicken/fish the Biscuits are AMAZING :) and the honey drizzled on top is the perfect compliment. My friend came in from Texas, had to bring her to try it out, She too was delighted with the awesome experience. The staff is extremely friendly and organized, lines can be long at times, but due to the professionalism of the employees, business runs very smooth and Food is ALWAYS Fresh and Hot!! AMAZING!! WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR!!?? GOOOOOO!!!

Its not like it used to be. Not sure if their using the same grease but my chicken taste like fish. And they changed their fries to the shoe string fries they were hard. Looking forward to a better experience next time if there is 1.

Don't come here expecting anything fancy and you will be fine. The chicken is great! Always hits the spot late at night. Definitely a must eat in OKC.

Was over served which is never a negative thing and me and all of my family enjoyed the food! Make sure to ask for extra honey!
