PDQ Restaurant

I've eaten here twice, and been largely unsatisfied both times. The first time I went in the evening, it was fairly busy but there were lots of employees behind the counter. The guy who took our order was polite but seemed to have trouble working the register, and we had to correct the order with him several times. The wait was pretty long for a to go order and the drive through wait was equally long, as the employees stood around, we think waiting for chicken to fry to finish a bunch of orders. Finally we got our to go order and went home, only to find that multiple items were missing. We called the location and were told to come back and they would get it to us, and throw in some coupons to make it right. We did so and were pleased with our food and with the handful of vouchers for free items on our next visit. Today we decided to give it another go, and to redeem our coupons. The cashier this time was great and made sure our order was correct, and we ended up getting our whole meal free in exchange for our coupons. We got home and everything was right. And then we realized, the food really isn't even good.

Had issues with my visit. Got a call back from the manager to try to make things right and regain my trust. He made one of the best chicken sandwich I have ever had! Perfection!

Absolutely love this place....probably some of the best management I have ever seen in a fast food restaurant. Very clean facilities, play a little bags while you visit! They have so many great items in the menu it’s hard to find one! The bowls are something you have never had before! Great cookies...15 different sauces and for free! Try the shakes before you leave!

So maybe I should give it second chance. I went when they first opened and it was pretty bad. 2 of my 5 fingers had ligaments or tendons in them. Even my chicken loving daughter wouldn’t eat it. I didn’t care for the sauces I got. I asked for 3 different ones, but 2 were wrong. It took about 25 minutes in the drive thru. I got the lemonade and it was so sour. The chicken itself didn’t taste great. It was ok, but just mostly greasy and not flavorful. I’ll stick with Slim’s or Cane’s. I do love that they take orders from a window instead of speaker though.

Shout out to the manager on Saturday afternoon. I ordered a rice bowl and they had ran out of rice. He offered me anything on the menu and offered me a refund for the rice bowl. Then we orderd shakes. Again there was a mix up and he gave me a free shake. He went way above and beyond to fix the issues. I appreciate his generosity. Oh and the food and shakes were delicious.
