The staff is very friendly and compassionate with the animals, My dog got lost through our fence in sunrise and thank God he ended up there ,they post lost animals every couple of hours . If you check the website and get there quick enough they don't even charge a boarding fee as was my case. Just make sure to have proof of up to date shots or by state as you will be required to pay for the shots and tags before they can release your pet to you. Even if they do there price is way cheaper than the vets office...thank you to all who took care of my best little friend ,you Guys are the best!!!

I had a wonderful experience at the Broward County Animal Care and Adoption Center. The facilities were clean, the staff was friendly and organized. It didn’t feel chaotic like it does at other shelters. When I adopted my Yorkie puppy he looked and smelled clean. He had a new collar on and they offered me a simple leash but I didn’t need it since I brought my own. I saw staff members playing with the animals which made me happy because it shows that they care about all these little guys.

It is very clean. the paws looks happy and friendly. Very well care. We went to get a cat, and was our best decision this place. Our new family member is just wonderful! All vaccines, healthy, and free. Hope to go back and get a friend for our "Lucky". ( the Lucky ones were us )

This place is so neat. Everyone is friendly. I love that they have "cat rooms" where you can walk in and visit with the cats. I would definitely rather come here rather than that other animal shelter not too far away from this location

The feral spay/neuter program is amazing--you drop trapped cats off, and they bring them back right to your property, all for free. The new facility is fantastic, people are helpful and dedicated, and the fact that we now have such a state of the art, no kill shelter in Broward is a godsend for county residents.
