So small and always under some sort of construction, but they do the best they have with what they've got. Can walk through and see all exhibits in less than an hour. Came on a weekend when there were vendors, a DJ, and activities though, and that really helped keep the kids more entertained. Should have more days like that!

Not a horrible zoo but. There is not much at all to see or do. Me my wife and our daughter did the loop in just under 30 minutes. And we had paid 10 per adult. I think its kind of a rip

Love the recent updates, this zoo has come very far from what it used to be. I'd like to see more of what the zoo does for animals as far as handling, conservation, habitat, and rehabilitation. Too many people think of zoo's for animals in cages, as a resident of the city it's known Buttonwood Park Zoo is not that. However I feel that many out of town visitor's aren't given the information openly enough that this zoo is much more.

It was okay. My 3 year old grand child enjoyed it. If I understood it correctly, it's the oldest operating zoo in the United States.

Beautiful park and great area for the kids to play. However if you have toddlers be sure you don't leave them unsupervised on the jungle gym. There are some very high and steep slides that are definitely not meant for little people.
