Large museum with many great interactive and fun learning activities. Exhibits are interesting and good for a variety of ages. Toddler/young child room that little ones can happily spend a long time in. Close by are the musical stairs, always a favorite! The lightning show is excellent, but can be loud and scary for some children. There's a butterfly room that's also wonderful, along with a planetarium and laser shows on weekend nights. Lunch options are decent for this type of place, but plenty of seating and can bring your own food. *Accessibility: A lot of walking, but electric and manual chairs avail for free. Elevators, escalators and restrooms easily accessible.

This is a great place to go to spend time. The admission price isn't ridiculous and it pays for so much. This isn't just for kids, teens and adults can have a great time here as there is a ton to learn about. They have great exhibits as well as detailed explanations of what you are seeing too.

Went here as a field trip thinking, it’s just another boring museum trip. As soon as I walked in the (revolving) door my opinion changed. The exhibits were SUPER interactive and interesting. I am 14 , but I would recommend for anyone 8-adulthood. The trip can be from 1 1/2 hours to 3 or 4 hours. Definitely recommend for families. Also the IMAX theater was spectacular. (Dream Big was the particular show.) Thanks for the great experience!

This is a Boston classic. Everyone of all ages will find entertainment and fascinating exhibits to read. The facilities were clean, well laid out, and easy to navigate. Despite being surrounded by schools - it didn't feel that packed. The staff were helpful and polite when teaching and demonstrating. I will definitely come back again!

It has grown and gotten so much better since I was a kid, I'm 43 now. I recently brought my son and it was amazing. Still lots of the older exhibits but many have been updated and their tons of STEM activities for the kids. Areas for them to play and let loose as well. My son is playing the spectrum and we were very appreciative of the family restrooms and that 90% of all the rest rooms do not have air dryers or auto flush toilets!!!
