One of the best tourist traps. They bring you by the boat load or your own. Restaurant up a hill 200 feet from the water. Crowded ,noisy, food just above micky D's, meat cooked only Med. But in reality its well done. No free refills( they don't tell you in advance) ice tea $4.50 per 12 oz glass (6). Water pay by the bottle (2). Back room over looks wooded lot with back hoe. Only good feature, room covered in dollar bills. Service very very slow and room was only half full. Portions small. We had (4 ) burgers (Jimmy B said to have written hamburger in paradise here- not this paradise ) and half dozen ice teas $90+ tipped $10 dollars waitress wasn't pleased. Only interesting thing here are half dozen land turtles penned off that borrow into the ground.

This place gets the five stars reserved for institutions. Tucked away and accessible only by boat, the setting deserves it's Cheeseburger in Paradise moniker. But they stick with the Cheeseburger adding only a few other substantive menu entries, like Stone crabs, which they ran out of on my visit. Great place to grab a drink when the chop of the sound gets to you and a one time must do.

This is a must-see. The ride out there on the taxi boat is a great trip. The natives know stories about the waters and the people living in the surrounding areas Also cabbage key is beautiful the food's good and the scenery is perfect. Walk around and see the native turtles.

I'm a Floridian now from MD. The best thing about the whole trip was the captain and his information. The boat ride was beautiful and weather perfect but once you've seen the gulf you've seen it ya know? Cabbage key was fine as far as nature very pretty. The restaurant shrimp salad was excellent but a thinner bread or bun toasted would of been better. Cole slaw was warm and lame. 14 lunch and 35 boat. I'd rather of spent it elsewhere really. Good if your not from FL. Gift shop on island very tiny and the biggest rip off stay away!!

This is a cute little place on an island so you have to take a boat to get there. There's a cool water tower you can climb up and get a view of the ocean and surrounding islands. The place is plastered with dollar bills inside and it's rather impressive. Prices are what I would expect for an island restaurant.
