Amazing food. Excellent service. Never had Jamaican food before but the waitress was very patient with me. Oddly enough.... Best damn cheesecake I have had in my life.

Worse Jamaican Food In Richmond!!!!! Hands Down🤔I Only Went There Because It Was Close I've Eaten Off Of Jamaican Street Carts That Was Better Than Carena's👎 I Ordered Large Curry Chicken With Double Rice No Cabbage. I Had More Fatty Chicken Skin And Bone Than Anything Else I Spent Only 10$ On It And I Feel Some Type Of Way Over That Foolishness I Paid For...... Never Again In Life!!!!👎 Tip To The Chef Minimize The Fatty Skin You Put In Your Curry It's Like Wet Glove......🤣

Excellent restaurant to enjoy a Caribbean vibe. The service is always on point. However certain food always sells out. Never understood that business concept but I usually ask up front. If they don't have what I want I turn around and leave. Usually loud crowd during happy hour but it's part of the culture.

Best Oxtail I've ever had in my life!! And I've had Jamaican food all over the country. Carena's is the BEST for sure!!

Food great I love the ribs and ribeye steak best. As much as I love oxtails here the gravy is good but it has more fat than meat. Quality of the meat doesn’t seem as good as some places. Their home made punch is awesome! I usually get 2 and one more to go. My husband loves the fish and curry goat. I wish the cabbage was cooked just a little more. Service is slow but the atmosphere makes up for it.
