Palm Tree Caribbean Cafe

This is one of my favorite Caribbean restaurants in Hampton Roads. I haven't tried them all but I have tried most. The jerk chicken is great! They have different flavors, mango, regular, and I think pineapple. I just let them pick because they are all very good. The food is always hot. The greens are a seasoned well and so is the cabbage. I usually get yellow rice but my husband loves their rice and peas. And you have a choice of plantains or cornbread. I love plantains with my Caribbean food, so you know what I always choose and theirs is always ripe and cooked perfectly. The customer service is okay, they arent bubbly but they are quick and thoughtful in providing service. If you haven't tried them, go ahead because you won't be disappointed.

Best Caribbean Food since I've lived in VA! The customer service could be better, but the food is delicious. If they were closer I'd probably have it once a week! Always hot, fresh and full of flavor! I've tried many others and they are the best hands down!

Stopped by there this pm and got small jerk chicken dinner. Although the food is good, I won't be going back. Don't like the fact they charge their customer a fee if paying by credit card. As a business owner myself, I would NEVER extend this fee to my customers. To me, that's just part of business. Regarding the food itself, the portions are nice but the regular jerk chicken is very sweet...don't like that.

The food was to sweet, and the people was having trouble understanding me, but the service and portions were nice.

Good service and great food. I usually grab a beef patty and a lemonade for a quick snack
