Rhythm Cafe

I've visited this restaurant a few times before. The food use to be just alright. However on this visit the food was awful. The jerk chicken was dry and maybe not fresh. The beans n rice was also dry. Not at all worth the $9. This place will not be around much longer. Its sad because I would like to support it but not at the cost of poor tasting food. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY

Had a taste for jerk chicken so I google and found this place. I went for lunch right about 11:15 on 4-25-18. I got the lunch special, jerk chicken, red beans and rice, and cabbage. The chicken was good just didn't have any juice. It was sitting in a pool of grease. The rice was just dry. I had clumps of rice. It tasted like it was re heated. And the cabbage was very lukewarm I couldn't finish eating it. Oh and the juice I got the iris(sp) fruit punch. Now the juice was bomb, but 3.00 for that little cup and no ice SMH. Lets just say I wont be back.

The lady was very friendly. The food was well seasoned especially the jerk chicken I had today. If you don't want to spend the meal price my suggestion is come during the lunch special from 1130 to 230 on Mondays to Fridays. You Definately get bang for your buck of $5.99 during that time. No frill place but leaving you full and don't let me forget about their patties they are delicious. Yummo!

Visiting the area for the weekend and stumbled upon this place while out shopping. My husband and I both loved the food. He had curry goat, rice and peas, sweet potatoes, and plantains. I had the curry chicken, rice and peas, cabbage, and plantains. We also had two meat patties that were delicious. Nice crispy crust and spicy filling. Everything was well cooked and seasoned. The owner was very sweet and she talked to us for a while. She also brought us a complimentary piece of pie that was the best pie I ever had in my life. I make my own homemade pies from scratch at home, so I normally don't order pie in a restaurant. This pie was made with guavas and some kind of cheese. It was out of this world. If we're ever in the area again, we will definitely visit again.

I really enjoyed this place! They have vegan options here and it was delicious. The owner is very accommodating too! I will be definitely going back :]
