Higher Heights Caribbean

I'm extremely unhappy. A friend referred us here, because they supposedly have a good "vegan oxtails". Disclaimer: She didn't recall the name, just the location, but we saw no other Caribbean spots nearby. We walked in 15 minutes before they closed & I told the lady cashier that we'd heard that they had really good "vegan oxtails".She asked if we wanted some & I asked her which of their sides were vegan. She said the peas and rice and the cabbage, so we ordered a sml & a lg order , with cabbage, peas &rice. She rang us up and I noticed that we paid the regular price. I told her that it's crazy to charge the same price for tofu as it is for meat; meat is more expensive. She said the price is the same. A guy gave us our order a few minutes later & I asked if he was the owner. He hesitantly responded that he was. I told him we'd been referred there for their vegan oxtails & he looked as if I was speaking Russian. We got ALL the way home, and realized they gave us meat! I'm livid!

Mac and cheese wasn't good at all. Cabbage and jerky chicken was ok. Go to cutlass grill. You are guaranteed good Caribbean every time.

No roaches (I guess). Not as rude as Granby St., but still rude. And not very knowledgeable. How is it you dunno how much a pack of cocoa bread is? (Teeth sucking sound). Omw to MP's.

I will never eat here again the service was extremely rude and the portions were so small I can't believe the guy told me to call the cops if I want a refund they must need the money here but trust me you don't need the stress

Patties tasted okay, not feel like it was fresh or handmade. Mac n cheese was ok too too plain
