Cutlass Grille

I'm from the Virgin Islands and I love Caribbean food. Cutlass Grille is one of my favorite places to visit when I want some island food and don't want to cook it myself. I love the way they fused Caribbean flavors with a twist of American cuisine to create a unique flavor. Yummy stuff! If you want a taste of the islands visit and enjoy👌🏽

One of my favorite places to eat in all of Hampton Roads. The owners and staff are so nice and friendly. The food is wonderful. By far the best place to go to get authentic Jamaican cuisine. I highly recommend the jerk ribeye. The jerk chicken, curry chicken, and curry goat are also great choices. There are also plenty of great desserts to choose from as well. Additionally, if you enjoy adult beverages I suggest trying the rum punch, a traditional Jamaican drink.

Interesting enough I live in the community right behind the plaza where the restaurant is located. Have been there for almost 2 decades and haven’t really shopped or dined in Knells Ridge until today. I was actually heading to the seafood place I saw advertised in the junk mail I received a week ago and saw that they were located 3 doors down. Being a West Indian, of course I chose the Cutlass Grille route. I have to say I was happy that I decided to walk in. The staff was friendly and the was restaurant clean, bright and airy. And the food, simply delicious. I was not greeted by a manager or an owner as what I would expect of a local eatery, but my server was attentive and friendly nonetheless. I had a great experience and will be back with family and friends.

First experience was a good one. We will be back! UPDATE: The food is above average but the price is simply too high for what you get. Probably won't be coming back very often. Two dinners to go should not cost me just under $50.

I love dining in the restaurant. The food was great. I had the pulled pork, jerk chicken, cabbage , mac and cheese, red beans and rice and baked beans. This is by far the best food for the price. The hostess and waitress were very polite. I love the service. Oh yes, I did have dessert ...the bread pudding was the best bread pudding I ever had. Please leave some for me. Thank you Cutlass Grille for an exceptional dining out experience. I will definitely be back ASAP!
