Carolina's Tex-Mex Restaurant

Gross place. My seafood was spoiled when we got it. I brought it to The attention of the manager who tried to argue that it was fine. The owner was a slimeball too. Never again.

this place is so horrible.. the food, idk it's just plain tasting and within 15min of eating our dish i immediately became nauseous and had to excuse myself outside. 5 min after me, my boyfriend became nauseous.. he ordered pollo (chicken) enchiladas and I ordered pollo taquitos and pollo hard shell tacos.. both entrees are served with rice and refried beans.. now if you've ever been to a mexican/Spanish restaurant you know what kind of rice and beans to expect.. this particular restaurant serves WHITE rice and soupy plain black bean, not mexican rice and refried bean.. idk but my boyfriend and I both decided we will NEVERRRRR go back to this place!.. please take heed to this review.. you will have the shitz if you don't lol

Went in with two others. Wait staff nowhere to be found. abysmal interior, get drinks and menu 15 minutes later. We ordered a Cuban sandwich and two quesadillas. Food tasted ok at best. Within 24 hours some variation of food poisoning hit all 3 of us and persisted for nearly a week. My girlfriend had to visit both a health clinic and a hospital as she was hit the hardest. I have crohns disease so the latter half of my GI track was destroyed. Stay away fam. It's anything but lit

Food was pretty lame, service was basic. Bathrooms small and gross, overall place was dirty. Not horrible overall, but far from great.

I tried calling this place at 3 after their lunch rush so as not to put a rush on them. After speaking to the waitress for several minutes and realizing she spoke little to no english, I asked to speak to the manager, at which point she hung up on me. Using google translate I called back and politely asked for the manager repeatedly, at which point they passed the phone around to each other, toying with me, and mimickong me in the background for five minutes. I could hear at least two staff members mocking my attempts at communication, and several other girls laughing the whole time as if this were some joke to them. These people seriously lack class. Once I got to the restaraunt, I did my best to act like I wasn't bothered by the awful waiting service I received, and the food looked as if someone had just thrown some cheese rice and beans onto a plate haphazardly and hoped it would settle into an appetizing dish, but it did not. The food was crap, the staff made this experience even worse. I will never come here again, and implore all of you to skip this destination if you are looking for a meal. These people aren't even worth your time or money.
