Mex Tequila Bar

Very slow service, server was responding and only paying attention to the group that was in her area. We only saw her a total of 3 times, never followed up or checked on. Food was very bland and over priced for what was served.

Decided to try this place out because there was a Groupon and I was in the mood for TexMex. I'm glad we had our Groupon because this place was sub par at best and not worth full price. The over stuffed tacos were bland and the queso dip was pricey considering its portion size, bland as well. The service was incredibly slow and our server clearly cared more about the tip from the party than our service, only stopping by for our initial order, a drink refill then for the check, which we had to get her attention in order to get the check. Should have checked the reviews before spending our Groupon on this place

Came here on a Saturday night. There were people sitting at the bar and outside. The booths were empty but more people arrived later. The waitress was really nice. We ordered nachos, which were on point and the drinks were tasty. Everything came out in a reasonable amount of time. There is karaoke on some nights.

If you're hungry and at the Inner Harbor, do NOT stumble in MEX. Get a good walk in and escape the tourist trap of the Harbor and their sub par food and go to a real neighborhood like Canton for good food. Baltimore has EXCELLENT food, just not at the Harbor. That said, if you are absolutely starving and the German beer garden next door is crowded, you'll definitely find seats in the always empty MEX. It's a large "Mexican" restaurant that services edible food for a cheap price. I ordered the fajitas for two and it was okay. It had some flavor, but wasn't very good and we kept on running out of flour tortillas (The first batch they brought were burned and so hard). The free chips and salsa were free...but were not good. I ordered a red sangria and it was weak and pure sugar. Although empty, the service wasn't very fast or attentive. It took awhile for them to notice us. Also, for parents: There are no changing tables in the men's restrooms so the sink will have to do if you need to change your baby's diaper.
