Centerville Police Department

Was hit by a girl at the chevron gas station on our way to the airport to catch our flight. We called the cops asking them to send someone so we could file a report. They said they would send someone and they’d be with us in a bit assuming they don’t get a priority call. After waiting 30 minutes they still hadn’t arrived. I called the cops again and they said they would send someone. 10 minutes later they called and said that we should go because the cop has a priority call and “will get there when he gets there.” Apparently there is only one cop in that city. Keep driving, don’t stop here!

I love these guys and gals. I have called them a couple times and they are quick and professional. Centerville wouldn’t be as nice as it is, if it wasn’t for them.

Police sting operation on Parrish Lane and Northbound I15 intersection. They have an officer who waits to cross on the crosswalk until traffic (at this incredibly busy intersection) clears up and a driver can finally get on the onramp. Then the cop further down the onramp cites drivers for failing to yield to pedestrian. These guys aren't about serving and protecting, they're about writing lots of tickets. The officer forgot to give me my copy of the citation when they busted me so I had to call and sit on hold for 15 minutes to make arrangements for me to get a copy. Not impressed.

Today I drove past a lemonade stand where two Centerville officers were buying lemonade from the kids. That shows me they care about the people they serve. Thank you for serving and protecting...and caring!
