West Valley City Police Department

Thank you so much for arresting people after their 2 month old son just died. Way to protect and serve!

I wanted to first say that I really respect police officers. However, it’s hard to respect someone who won’t let you talk. I agree with some of the people who have talked about police officers being unnecessarily rude at this department. I was pulled over for not obeying the right of way at a stop sign. I understand I probably did not completely stop, but the officer was unnecessarily rude to me even though I was complying with him without arguing. He was extremely rude to me and would not listen to anything I had to say. After he gave me the ticket, he went in the complete opposite direction from where he was originally headed. Sounds to me like someone was bored and had nothing better to do with their time than to be a jerk and give me a traffic ticket in spite of my perfect driving record.

Was in a car accident and called the west valley dispatch. There were no personal injuries so by not calling 911 I could still get a immediate response , but no no we waited 45 min and no one showed up. So called again and found out that dispatch was waiting for a cop to become available

So executing a 21 year old unarmed woman wasn't enough.....still getting your kicks abusing your citizens. Scumbags.

Our business was burglarized overnight and we called WVCPD to file a case # for insurance purposes. Kudos to Officer Alvarez, who came out took pictures, took copies of our video and left us with a case #. I've worked in other surrounding cities in the Salt Lake valley and they couldn't care less about your issue and wouldn't give you the time of day. I appreciate WVCPD coming out to my business and at least doing what they are supposed to do.
