Literally the worst company ever. Don't waste your time or money because they will over charge you and "have no idea what happened"

Terrible customer service. Expensive service for low speeds 10 Mb/s next near a neighborhood with speeds up to 50 mb/s and their prices are cheaper by $30 a month. Costs $400 for a technician to install a new DSL line. (Essentially just connect two wires in one spot and the identical 2 color wires on the other side...) Monopoly service to my area 0 other providers can service my house if I want internet I have no other choice but to use Centurylink. Expect to have your internet randomly drop and speeds fall tremendously under the advertised prices. Getting a technician out to your house takes 20 minuets on the phone voicing a problem and repeating that you want one 30 times OR MORE! They try and tell you of a problem elsewhere when you know you have checked every end and connection AND yes I can see a green light and know if something is working.

Been having issues with my service for 4 months after we thought it was fixed only a few wks later it went down again. Called the 1-800 number for them to only put a bandaid on the problem. Left 4 messages at their office to never get a phone call back. When I did get a call back the guy said all he can do is get me a repair ticket and have a tech come check my router and that’s all. He didn’t seem to care that I had been dealing with this for a while and was frustrated. Admittedly I wasn’t the nicest but I was tired of paying for a service I don’t get and no one cared or eager to fix. I have been a customer for 8+yrs and I am EXTREMELY disappointed in the interaction I had while the guy over the phone today. I asked for a supervisor number and he said he was the only one working their and hung up on me.

I️ set up service at my business. I️ have not received a bill so I️ have made several attempts on several occasions to call to pay my bill... I️ also do not have any emails from them. So I️ don’t have an account number. They have been unable to find any account for me using my home or business address or phone number. They can’t find it under my or my husbands name or our business name even though I️ have had internet services with century link for the last month this morning I️ made 3 separate phone calls to them the second call I️ told the man that their automated service was glitchy and counting each number entry as multiple numbers. And voice responses were also not working and that I️ would just like to pay my bill.... he then placed me on hold for 10 minutes... when hold broke I️ found that he transferred me back to the broken automated system. After that I️ spent 59min talking to an actual person who took every bit of info I️ could possibly give and still could not find my account. He was able to verify the other businesses in our building but not us. They found it just fine when the tech came out for install. I️ have no idea what is going on but it is beyond frustrating.
