Great place to hike. Lots of try cover. They have done a very good job with this place.  Trails are well maintained. Multiple benches to stop if needed. This has become my new top place to hike. Equal to Top Mound Trail at Elk City Lake if not better.

Loved our visit. Great trails to follow with interesting info posted along the way. The visitor's center also had great kid-oriented nature displays.

If you like the out doors, nature,  walking, and don't mind the bugs, then check it out.  Great walking,  quiet,  and my kids loved the sand bar. They have I think about 6 trails.  Ranging from 1 mile long to about 7 for the longest

It's very beautiful and quiet. Very well maintained trails makes it an easy hike whichever trail you take.
