I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It's a little ways from downtown, but just a quick bus ride from shopping and museums, and the bus stop is right across the street. It's also only 1/2 a mile from the trains. The location also gave me the opportunity to see new parts of the city, like Chinatown. Free parking was awesome. Bed was comfortable and staff were friendly. If you want a hotel right on the mag mile this hotel might not be for you, but if you're looking for a comfortable, affordable place that's a quick ride to all the Chicago attractions consider staying at the South Loop Hotel!

We stayed two nights at the Chicago South Loop Hotel.Talk about location! It's just a few blocks from China Town, and minutes from the beach and Navy Pier . The staff was very helpful and friendly. They allowed us to check in early too! They offer free parking for guests, which is rare for any hotel in the city. The hotel lobby is gorgeous and spacious. The rooms were very clean and the beds were some of the comfiest we've ever slept on. The bathroom was also very nice. Super clean and the tub was huge!! Do yourself a favor and make your next stay in Chicago here. You won't regret it!

I attempted to arrange a room block at this hotel for our wedding due to the proximity of our venue and vendor recommendation. We were met with such poor, unprofessional customer service from their sales and front desk team we couldn’t imagine sending our guests here. Both parties were telling us different facts, so there was a major lack of trust. They offer free parking, but let you know that guests end up having to park on the streets at busy times, they have extra lots but prefer not to use them or tell guests about them. The room block rate was $10 cheaper than the quote price for a normal guest, but then you have to pay an extra $10 per room per additional person over the allotted two. The contract provided, compared to those provided by major hotel groups, looks like it was copy and pasted from different websites. When asked to make a change to it, they copy and pasted my email into it. How that becomes binding is beyond me, and not a normal business practice. Don’t waste your time looking into this hotel option!

The rooms were nice and clean and spacious. the shower was really nice and had a deep soak tub free parking and the beds weren't horribly uncomfortable either. I didn't hear the sirens but my boyfriend got woke up a few times. apparently the hotel is located a few blocks away from the fire station or a hospital I'm not sure which but if you're a light sleeper that might be an issue for you. The only issue we had was our towels smelled like burnt something which isn't really bad considering the location. Staff was super friendly

Chicago South Loop Hotel hosted our client, touring comedian Andrew Rose, and he couldn't have been more pleased! Being minutes from some of Chicago's best attractions afforded him tons of options while in town performing. He also started his day off right with breakfast at the very chic Food Boutique on site! We look forward to sending more of our clients here in the near future.
