Circle Line Sightseeing Cruises

A “Photo Op” from start to finish! The city panoramas were breathtaking, and gave us views you wouldn’t be able to see any other way. The tour guide was entertaining, (though very long winded) and knowledgeable about the city and its history. We loved going under all of the bridges and getting a real history lesson on each one. Our “soft” pretzels were expensive, had been microwaved to death and were so tough we ended up throwing them away. I would recommend this cruise for anyone, especially those with limited mobility or limited time to see the city.

We took evening cruise to see Harbor lighting. And it was the most amazing and memorable time we had in the big Apple. A half circle around the Manhattan island around sunset time with very nice guide pointing landmarks as the boat passes each point. Would defiantly do it again.

I took the "Best of NYC" cruise on a Sunday at 10:00AM in mid-March. It was a cold but clear morning. I was in NYC as a tourist on this trip and the Circle Line fit the bill for the need to see a ton of the sights. The lighting at this time of the morning was very good for photos, particularly coming around the tip of Manhattan. The boat felt like it only had a smattering of of other passengers on it. The was plenty of walking around room inside and out. The narrator for out tour was a real pro too. The live narration from this guy was great. It was pretty clear he likes his job. There are a couple tiny opportunities for improvement. First do a better job of keeping the windows clean on the boat. It's a sightseeing & photography tour. Second raise the volume of the audio at the bow of the boat . Everywhere else it's great but out on the bow you can't hear well. Five stars for this trip!

Great tour and really knowledgeable guide. We were lucky on the day we went on the Best of NYC trip and the boat went all the way around Manhattan. About 20% of the time they have to turn around. Great views and interesting details about buildings and other sites along the way.

We booked the beast weeks in advance to ensure we could ride the 30mins on a very tight schedule in New York. Upon arriving we were informed that if 10 people were not present the boat couldn't go out. Unfortunately only 6 passengers turned up and it was cancelled. Despite us being on time for our scheduled departure, a refund was not issued and no apology offered...simply told to come back the following day when the weather was better. This is all despite the companies slogan of will go in "rain or shine." Wouldn't recommend!!
