Absolutely the worst place to get a home they are Liars they will lie to your face and to you on the phone every chance they get even if you do have them recording they will screw you over they will never come fix your place they will wait for a year then say you have to pay us to come out there now the employees will steal things out of your house they will use your products in your house if you have any in there they will not clean up any messes they will destroy the inside and your yard on outside I've had him come in to try to fix one thing and they tear 3 others up in Evansville Indiana Highway 41 Scott that works down there isn't obitual liar Okay I'm not sure I understand but it's been over a year now our place is still not finished you been through 3 general managers since I started this whole house process with you guys our cabinets are still messed up and stripped out with doors falling off our floor is not done our water pipe is still Laying across the ground which this winter when it freezes it will destroy the whole house my inspector of that I hired said that was never properly done right i took a vacation and come down there and talk to you I made attempts to talk to you in person you keep telling me you're going to finish my house promising me telling me you have people on it coming but then again no one ever shows up to finish it it's beyond ridiculous it's really not that complicated I'm sick and tired of you guys lying to my face telling me months after months that you're going to come and fix something I've called you several times I never get a phone call back so I guess they're only one thing else to do is get ahold of the Better Business Bureau contact my lawyer to start a lawsuit for not only my home but damages you guys did to my property that you're at knowledge about i have showed you evidence and you guys keep telling me to take that up with the guy that did it I didn't hire that guy I hired you guys I'll also get with my lawyer to put a freeze on any payments toward this house I'm not going to pay for unfinished house that's not what I was offered I was offered a finished house before payments ever started that are the recorded words out of Scott's mouth and I'll talk to several other people that have bought homes off you guys and they feel the same way I think it's a time you guys stepped up and start acting more professional

Can not get them to fix any of our issues that we have had from day one, now they say our warranty is up so they are done, yesterday they hung up on my wife, they don't return your calls and when you do get ahold of them they are rude.

These guys are ridiculous been waiting 9 months to move into my home still waiting on them to order parts they've been ordering for nine months they come and fix something mismatch everything this is insane they tell me that you're going to come work on my house don't show up till 11 o'clock and leave before 5 how can you get anything done I might have to look into a job Clayton home that way I can get paid for doing absolutely nothing I wish I could put pictures on this site my four-year-old son could have done a better job probably could have told them what they was doing wrong really sad REALLY TALKING ABOUT ITS NOT GETTING ANYTHING DONE WE HAVE BEEN TALKING ABOUT IT FOR MONTHS HOW ABOUT WE GET IT DONE I'VE BEEN PAYING FOR THIS HOUSE FOR 9 MONTHS AND ALSO AN APARTMENT AND MY FIANCE LIVE IN ANOTHER TOWN BECAUSE OUR HOUSE IS NOT FINISHED ALSO ASHLEYS FURNITURE SENT ALL OUR FURNITURE BACK TO THE MAIN STORE BECAUSE MY FIANCE THINKS CLAYTON HOME EMPLOYEES WILL BE SETTING ON THE SOFA WATCHING TV INSTEAD OF FIXING OUR HOME... HERE IS A REQUEST THE AMISH DOES GREAT JOBS IN EVERYTHING THEY DO AND THERE FAST MAYBE THEY CAN HELP YOU CATCH UP WHAT OTHERS MESSED UP

I would never recommend anyone to buy a home from Clayton Homes. We have lived in a mobile home from them for 6 years. It is a piece of crap. All the trim is coming loose or have fallen off. We had to get a different refrigerator shortly after we moved in. They gave us a crappy one and now the ice maker is leaking from the back . The mirrors in both bathrooms have come loose and almost fallen off. We had to put it back up.Fortunately we got it before it fell on the sink. It is just a piece of crap. The people at clayton homes do not tell the truth about anything. They told us we would have a warrenty for the appliances and other things in the home in case of break downs,but they didn't bother to tell us there was a deductible and the paperwork didn't say anything about it either. Our dishwasher broke down over a year ago. this home is terrible and cost way too much for the condition it is in. We have already had to put a new roof on it. Dont' ever buy a home from Clayton homes.
