cobbler express shoe repair

Went in a few months ago and dropped of a pair of scuffed leather shoes. When I came back half an hour later, as instructed, the gentleman behind the counter had replaced the heel caps, but told me that he couldn't do anything about the scuffs. I told him I hadn't asked for the heel caps, and didn't want them, especially not if I had to replace the shoes anyway due to the scuffs. He wouldn't budge and charged me the full amount for the heel caps anyway. I went in last week with my watch for a new battery. It's a fairly new watch and the first time I've taken it for a new battery. I came back half an hour later, again as instructed. The same gentleman told me he replaced the battery, but that the watch was broken and needed to be taken to a watch specialist. Again, I had to pay for service that left me no better off than when I came in. Plus, I noticed after the fact that he had badly scratched the seam and back of the watch, so he wasn't even skilled or careful at replacing the battery in a snapback watch. Definitely won't be back here!
