Compass Self Storage

We used them for more then a year. Had 2 units, both a large climate controlled and an even larger standard unit. We had countless issues with the staff. Incorrect charges as well as the craziest issue. We asked for and paid for a particular sized climate controlled unit. We were given the wrong size unit, when we noticed they were closed already. We had no choice but to put the stuff into the unit anyway. We called as soon as they were open and explained what happened. They proceeded to tell us it was 100% our fault for not measuring the unit first, we were also told that it IS NOT THEIR JOB to know which unit is what size. That is up to the customer to know. Then they said as a courtesy they would change us to a larger unit (meaning the size we asked for in the first place as well as paid for) at no additional charge. They then said we had 24 hours to move the stuff from the 1 unit to the other. They were also very disrespectful to us.

The individual customer service was excellent at this center/location in Roseville. The staff were very accommodating and made a positive effort to be sure all of my storage needs were met. Each staff encounter was upbeat and receptive, no matter which associate I was talking with.

Friendly and understanding staff. There's good and bad things about this place, just like every where else. Got a pretty good promotion for the unit I rented. Full price seems steep though.
