We have made a tradition to come for a visit every spring to take photos of our kids. Overall, the whole area is very picturesque and lends itself to some great photo backgrounds. The only ding in the rating is that the past few years there seems to be a lot of construction going on and some areas of the house clearly need more repair. This, of course, means some areas have all sorts of construction fences, barricades, etc. As I mentioned, though, overall the space is great and I'd recommend checking it out.

A truly wonderful place just miles north of Detroit. Come to Cranbrook and you will be transported to a coswold like hamlet. Great place for long walks, running or biking. Don't miss the Japanese garden.
