We love the gardens. They have activities for all ages during all seasons. They provide wonderful entertainment for the community with the summer outdoor concert series. The spring Butterflies are Blooming exhibit is so beautiful, a breath of fresh air when the cold Michigan winter is stretching into April. We love the new activity room for children and the splash pad and play area in the summer months. The art exhibitions are world class and beautifully displayed both inside and outside on the gardens. There are trails to following through the grounds and they offer rides around the gardens if you prefer. In the winter there are special horse drawn carriage rides around the trails and beautiful Christmas trees decorated for there holidays around the world themed exhibit. Highly recommend a few visits throughout the year to fully enjoy the many artful activities and exhibitions.

Had a great day..weather wise to visit. .very busy, lots of people there to see the butterfly exhibit. Long line to wind around and wait to get admission tickets, and then to get in the conservatory. .but went pretty quickly..many varieties of cactus plants, and then in the next room was beautiful colorful flowers. .even some with tiny butterfly larvae in the leaves , fun for kids to spot. .nice nature, walk, kids had fun things to do in the children's area..very enjoyable day..clean restrooms, and benches to sit..if you make it all around the nature walk you are rewarded with 2 fantastic waterfalls and peaceful area to just relax.

Very nice place. The butterfly house was the greatest asset just wish it wax even larger to accommodate all the people. Kids loved this area. As well kids liked the kids sculpture park which seemed to be well used. Sadly the farm was not well attended despite it being very nice. The only disappointment was the windmill. They could have used one once made in Kalamazoo but they did not. It will be interesting to go back after the renovations are complete.

This is a first-class place. One of my favorites is the butterfly exhibit earlier in the year. The Tropical Conservatory is nice any time of year. If you have kids, try the Children's Garden. There are so many things for them to do. The Japanese Garden is great new addition. And I love the concerts in the summer. Big name acts come in, with a special Tuesday series with regional acts. There's plenty more so explore!

If you live in the west Michigan area or are just visiting this Garden and sculpture park is a must see. Apart from all the trails, sculpture, butterflies, and gardens Meijer gardens also offers fun events in the summer like concerts on the lawn and interactive kids areas. They also have a nice restaurant/cafe and gift shop that are worth stopping by. You will need several hours at the park to really see everything and they do offer transportation within the park for those that need it.
