Cycle Works

I own a CBR1000rr, bought it new. First I will state that I am an A level Honda certified technician who got out of the field so I know service... Between track days I would switch from street tires to race rubber and I let cycle works do the changes for me. I took the wheels off my bike and brought them all they needed to change. The very first time they changed my tires I noticed scratch marks in the wheels, albeit minor still fresh on the first change. I decided not to say anything, but on the second change Joe the service manager made a comment about my wheels have scratches in them... he was shocked to find out that their shop was the only shop to touch them. I complained about the wheels being brand new, less than 1k miles on them and they gave me a "discount." So when I finished my track day at Barber I gave them the chance to swap back to my street rubber. No new scratches this time, but they failed to put the wheel spacer in my rim and I had to wait until after the weekend to go up there on a Tuesday for the service man to "find" it on the floor in the shop. I also asked every time for the wheel weight dual sided sticky residue to be removed and my wheels be clean. Not one time did they honor my request. These two are the most recent, but shortly after I moved to Carrollton I went by the shop and spoke to a guy named Ricky in the parts department. I had a race in 2 weeks and needed quite a few parts for my KX250. Being busy and on my lunch break I asked if I could communicate through email and provide them a list of the parts and ensure they would get them for me. With a yes and an email we moved forward. Later that evening I emailed him with a list of parts to order, I got an email saying they would be here. When I called on the Wednesday before the Saturday race... Parts never ordered, actually told me that they don't operate this way. Until I provided the email and Ricky stated he forgot about it and dropped the ball, the shop didn't take ownership of the problem. I've been burned on 3 different separate issues, albeit the scratches on my wheels happened two out of 4 times. I can also attest to walking around the showroom without any greeting.

I will not return to this service center. They charged me $684.00 to replace a stator on my Polaris 400 ATV. They also kept it well over a month and said the part was on "back order". There are plenty of other places to go that won't rip you off. I can get my Porsche worked on cheaper than this. Stay away.

If you need anything motorcycles go to Basic Cycle. They're a lot more reasonable with prices and these guys didn't want to help me get the parts/maintaince fluids for my Bike. The employees acted "douchy" I'd say but it's fine I'm not giving anymore business. Wouldn't reccomend coming here 1 star

Excellent. Yes, excellent they treated me like I was the only one there. He I didn't catch his name, answered all my questions, I was very pleased when I left there I will be back.
