D&S Boat Sales

I will never go there again! I rented a slip there for the summer a few years ago and it was a horrible experience. The dock was filthy and infested with spiders. There was debris in the water, like huge tree branches, that they did not clear out. One day my boat took on water and partially sank while moored. They offered to do the repairs and I agreed. Our insurance paid for the repairs and they fixed my boat. When i went to pick up the boat they told me I owed them over $4000! They claimed that the cost was for contaminated fuel disposal, even though they initial told me, and the insurance company, that our fuel was fine. The insurance company refused to pay for it since they claimed there was no water in the fuel when they first checked it and D&S held my boat hostage until I paid. I had to pay the money to get my boat back but they lost a customer forever.

If you drop off your boat for service they are not responsible for what happens to it while sitting there. If someone "accidently" takes something off of your boat they will not replace. So much for that expensive part you just had installed! Beware!
