Days Inn by Wyndham Los Angeles LAX/VeniceBch/Marina DelRay

I had a 17hr layover that warranted rest. I usually find that Studio 6’s are clean, comfortable and very reasonable for short stays. I thought Days Inn would compare. I was WRONG! This place was awful. I called Wyndham from the airport to get reservations at an economical spot that also had shuttle service. I get off the phone dial the # Wyndham gave me.. wrong# it had been disconnected. I look up Days Inn near the airport on my phone. That number a different one that Wyndham gave me was disconnected too?!!! So now it’s after 11pm. Wyndham told me shuttle service ended at 11pm. $16 and a taxi ride around the block later I get to the motel. With no apologies or empathy for the debacle I’m given the key to my room. The room smells horrible, carpet felt worse than sticky, tub drained slow enough to allow 4inches of water on my feet while I showered. I did finally sleep very well. The bed was hard but pillows comfy. I was exhausted. I’m a mom of 6 who always travels on a budget but this place was just plane unhealthy. The shuttle van looks like it had been in a few accidents. Front desk lady was not friendly or welcoming.

Room was clean but 3 light bulbs were missing so lighting wasnt very good and microwave had a damaged cord. However, staff was very friendly and courteous. Only suggestions get shower caps!!..lol

Bad neighborhood and the hotel room wasn't great. The plus side was our windows opened largely and onto an alley, so we didn't have to worry about people walking by our giant open windows. Just a basic Motel 6 type.

The owner is rude Tony I booked a room on one website and then they over charged me and stated I had 2 reservations it has been almost 3 weeks now the owner hangs up when I call the hotel has people walking all night the up keep on the property is terrible no screens on the windows water terrible no hot water. I will be reporting them to the better business bureau. horrible customer service they rent there rooms to hookers for hours at a time. this place is just awful. so I had to file with the BBB since then I am still getting the run around and it looks like I am going to have to file another complaint because it has been 30 days now and guess what I still haven't got my refund... Now the lady at the front desk Gingie or whom ever does not know when Tony will be in but he is the owner. sad business

Great place not too expensive, close to everything, statement out of their way to help everytime. Very accomodating
