Denton Arts & Jazz Festival

Music, food, and people are the top three things you'll find at this festival, and they're all great. Want to eat fried shark while listening to bagpipes? This is the place for you. Maybe you want beer and jazz? That's the whole point! Definitely a fun time for any age! (There are bouncy houses and games for kids)

Great venues and music. Food and vendors pretty typical, and somewhat pricey and most only accepted cash. The area was too crowded to get around with ease. Major complaint: anywhere I sat down with my blanket, be it by the drainage channel on a hill, or at the main jazz stadium, I was engulfed in cigarette smoke. I couldn't get away from it and my partner is allergic. They need solve this problem being a family event. Felt more like a dirt bag festival. Didn't stay long any of the days I was there. I think they need to move to a larger space given the crowd size. Also a lot of the music wasn't jazz at all.

An awesome event! Denton Arts and Jazz festival always brings out world class speakers and somehow keeps itself free. With 6 stages and a ton of events and booths, there isn't many reasons not to go and enjoy it!

Had a great time. Was the first time I had ever been here. I had the time of my life with my really good friend and her friend.

Today was our first time at this event and finding it was a happy accident when we ate at a nearby restaurant. It was really fun with great booths and activities for all. We will be back!
