Good times! I need some better renaissance clothing! The shows are all entertaining and you can find some good food spots. We always have a fun time here. I recommend going early on to avoid the hot days. Especially if you want to dress up!

Been coming here for over 20 years and never a disappointment. Check schedule of events online to know where and when you need to be at different locations to see what you are interested in. $7-$10 avg for food items (very wide variety). Bottled drinks and water are $3 Artisans and craftsmen will explain their crafts without pressure to buy. General fair staff is helpful and funny. Don't take the people here seriously they are just playing around trying to make it fun. Not handicap friendly - almost all gravel and dirt path, elderly will need a walking stick or an arm to help steady themselves. Don't forget the sunblock. Plan ahead and you will have a fantastic time. I highly rate this as a great work function - great for sales and retail teams.

Great place for Adult and kids. All the same items that you would find at any other fair, but eating a turkey leg seems more appropriate with the surrounding. A lot of good food can be found on a stick it seems. There are great shows that are free, but tipping is greatly appreciated. Nice shops with handmade leather, wood, glass and metal items. And a good place for Mead

I took my wife and her mom here yesterday. The weather was just right. Not too hot out. The last time I was here was almost 25 years ago. I remember it not being very big. Things sure have changed! It's huge now. We walked the entire thing, saw 4 shows, and ate quite a lot. 8 hours later we were plenty tired but happy. For the price of admission, we got way more than our money's worth. And it wasn't crowded either. I think because everything is spaced out nicely. Well worth a trip of you have never been or like me, haven't been in along time. It opens at 10. I recommend arriving around 9:30 or its along walk to the entrance and along wait to get in.

First time experience was definitely a positive one. Being there for opening weekend at open, the grandeur alone just from the gate opening was fantastic. The atmosphere is great and you can really immerse yourself if you allow it. If I had to summarize in one sentence, "You will enjoy this as much as you allow yourself to." I say that because if you just walk around and look at things, but don't interact, you won't have the time me and my family did. If you get involved, you will have the time of your life. We spent all day there and I can't wait to go back.
