Really awesome the people that put on the show are nothing but top-notch. They must have the most fantastic communications department of any festival in this country. Everything is immediately taken care of.

Wonderful display of very creative art and stuff. Many vendors from outside of TX. This review is more of how to get there and enjoy yourself. Take the DART (Dallas Area Rapid Transit) light rail and/or TRE (Trinity Railway Express) train to festival. Yes, you can drive and pay a lot to park in downtown Ft Worth. Both DART and TRE run on festival weekend days. You might need to start with DART at their free parking lots and transfer to the TRE at Union Station (red & blue lines) or Victory Park (green or orange lines). Or drive to free TRE parking lot and catch the train there. Be sure to buy the regional pass if you start on DART as it will also cover the TRE fare. Check the respective websites for details on cost, schedule, etc. In our case it was less than than hour from Parker Rd station in Plano to Union Station. Then about an hour to Ft Worth on the TRE. Get off at the ITC station (Intermodal Transit Center). Less stress and no parking hassles. Cost was less than gas and parking if we had driven. I posted several photos of the vendors and crowd scenes. Festival is usually in late April early May so it can be hot. Take a break at lunch and go to northern end of Main St (Sundance Square) and eat in one of the many great air-conditioned restaurants in area. Or get some coupons and eat stand-up while watching the crowd and artists.
