Brenna helped me select frames for a prescription I brought in from elsewhere. She was professional, friendly, easygoing, patient and seemed genuinely interested in finding something that worked for me.The curated selection of frames range from handcrafted designer to bargain basement (well designed product lines at a more affordable price). The glasses arrived days before I expected. Service was great when I picked them up. Excellent customer service and selection. Go there.

I would give them 10/5 if I could. The folks at Discerning Eye have gone above and beyond in customer service- shipping me glasses, being flexible with all kinds of details. Beautiful selection and knowledgeable employees. I'll always go out of my way to shop here.

Discerning eye is outstanding in every way, and we in Johnson County & eastern Iowa are fortunate to have this comprehensive eye care facility in our area! Owner Joni Schrup and her staff are personable, knowledgeable and helpful....and Dr. Dan Wolfe is simply the best! I have seen him for scheduled exams, & recently as a walk-in with an eye complaint. In every instance he is professional, thoughtful, friendly and thorough. I would not even consider taking my eyes elsewhere!

Everyone was very friendly and the doctor was informative. When I was filling out the paperwork the lady noticed my glasses needed to be tightened and fixed them right away. Best experience I've had getting a new pair of glasses.
